The oil painting "Evolution" received an Honorable Mention in the 2007 Annual Public Art Competition sponsored by the Naperville Art League. "In the Cellar", received a merit award in the Naperville Art League's March 2007 show. "Speed and Endurance", an acrylic painting featuring two sled racing Siberian Huskies, received a merit award in the September 2006 show at the DuPage Art League. The colored pencil drawing "Beach Combers" received a merit award at the August 2006 show at the DuPage Art League. The oil painting "Pike's Peak" received a merit award in the July 2006 show at the DuPage Art League. The oil painting "Behind the Boat" received best theme award in the March 2006 show at the Naperville Art League. The oil portrait of "Thomas" has received Best in Show at the February 2006 "Passionate Observers" show at the Naperville Art League.
